More about me:
Hello and welcome to my Closing the Bones page.
I am a Doula, Hypnobirth Teacher and a Sound Healing Practitioner, my passion is supporting women of all ages and stages in life. I feel Closing the Bones is a deeply profound and beautiful way to nurture a woman.
A beautiful postnatal ritual/ceremony involves massage and being wrapped. Relaxing, powerful and healing. Various treatments can be incorporated in such as Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Sound Healing, Sound Relaxation and Guided Visualisations. A wonderful gift for a new mother or at any point in a womens life.
The treatment is 2 hrs and costs £100
What it includes:
Each session is personalised around you, we begin with a chat or I hold space for you to feel listened to, you then lay on a comfortable bed I create on the ground, using a rebozo scarf I sift your pelvis, helping you to relax, release tension and create a good blood and oxygen flow to the whole area. I then massage your belly and hips with beautiful oils of your choice, following more sifting I then wrap your hips and the rest of of your body with rebozo scarves.
The next part you have a choice of resting with silence, receiving reiki with or without music, receiving sound healing, a sound bath, a guided visualisation, drumming, a poem or song etc… we can chat about what feels right for you and it may change in the moment. I am following you at every point.
We can even start with you receiving an Indian Head Massage before you lay down.
Some feedback from clients:
“I loved the massage and being all wrapped up…that was heaven. I really liked the Reiki I got a definite tingling when you were working over my core. I found the whole experience quite ritualistic which was really healing. It’s also just dawned on me that I’ve not had anyone touch me skin to skin around my core in a nonmedical way since the miscarriage. I found it incredibly caring and nurturing.”
